Join us for Rocking Horse Equestrian Summer Camp!
We will hold 7 weeks of summer camps (each one is 5 days, M-F). See below for the schedule and pricing…
Camp will be 10am-3pm and is located at Modoc riding Ring, 4317 Modoc Rd., Santa Barbara, CA 🤠
Modoc riding ring is a membership based facility. All non-members can pay day use fees to come to camp and enjoy the facilities.
We focus on: Horsemanship knowledge, horseback riding, games (on and off the horses), teamwork, crafts, friendship building... and more!
This camp is for all levels! Total beginners and experienced riders all welcome!
-$680 (per week) for riding ring members
-$780 (per week) for non-members
*that extra $100 for non-members covers day use fees to the ring for the 5 days. This $100 payment is to be paid upon arrival the first day of camp via cash or check made out to “HRRTA”.
**If your children will do more than 1 week of camp, it makes the most sense to become a member to the ring (vs. pay day use fees for 2 weeks). We are happy to help facilitate a membership. Let us know!
Note- HRRTA is the ring association and separate from us. Children cannot join camp or be around our horses in any capacity if they are not current members, or if they have not paid their $100 day use fees for the week. Thank you for understanding!
***please note, we fill up FAST! We cannot hold a spot waiting for payment. In order to be officially enrolled in camp, you must:
1. Email us the following:
-what camp week you are signing up for
-your campers first and last name
-the campers DOB (date of birth)
-a parental contact (name/number)
-one additional emergency contact (name/number).
2. Send camp payment via Venmo ($680 per week)
*reminder- non members will owe an additional $100 upon arrival the first day of camp (Monday). This covers the day use fees for the week for non-members. This $100 can be paid via cash or check made out to “HRRTA” (which is the ring association and is separate from us).
**If you send payment and we are already full, we will refund right away. Don’t wait to send payment as that might cause you to miss a final spot!
Once we receive both your message and payment, we will add your camper to our official roster. Spots are open for others to snag up until these steps are complete. Thank you for understanding! Once we fill, we will start a waitlist.

All camp payments are non-refundable.
We cannot accept camp cancellations or offer refunds (or lesson credits) for campers who can no longer join after registering.
Please be sure you are signing up for a week that you are truly available for (suggestion: double check your kiddo is out of school in time for the week you are signing up for and/or not going back into school earlier than the camp week you are signing up for ends! All schools get out and go back in at different times).
The exception is- we will start a waitlist once camp days fill. IF there is someone on the waitlist that can take your spot (and they send payment to do so), we will then send you a refund back. If we do not have another camper to take your spot, then unfortunately, there will be no refund or credits.
